From the swamplands of the San Francisco Bay Area comes The Tribal Blues and Funk Band – a nine piece power funk and electric blues band featuring a four piece horn section.

Keeping their mojo workin’ since 2007, The Tribal Blues and Funk Band is East Bay Grease mixed in with some Muscle Shoals. Their repertoire runs the gamut of Funk, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Blues… Covering songs from artists such as Tower of Power, Greyboy Allstars, Albert King, Prince, Joe Bonamassa, Al Green, Etta James, Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, and many more. One thing is guaranteed, our audiences can not sit still!! We create a celebration wherever we perform.

The band has performed in some of the Bay Area’s most famous venues such as The Great American Music Hall, Slim’s, Club Fox, Angelica’s, as well as the following local festivals – San Mateo’s Bacon and Brew Festival, Sausalito’s Caledonia Street Fair, Sausalito’s Jazz and Blues by the Bay Summer Concert Series, Marin’s Biketoberfest, San Francisco’s Carnaval, Tour de Peninsula (6 years in a row) and the San Francisco Leukemia/Lymphoma Walk-A-Thon (8 years in a row)… just to name a few 🙂
